AP DEECET Eligibility – Education Qualification & Eligibility Criteria For TTC Entrance Exam

AP DEECET Eligibility Conditions: Read complete details of Education Qualification & Eligibility Criteria For TTC Entrance Exam (DEECET/DIETCET) in Andhra Pradesh candidates who intend to take admission into two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.,) in Government District Institutes of Educational Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state to be conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Educational Qualifications:

The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2 Final Examinations (qualifying examination) March-2017 or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.

The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45 percent.

Eligibility Criteria to Get Admission into DEECET Andhra Pradesh

  • Candidate should be of Indian Nationality
  • The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local Status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
  • Candidate should have obtained a rank in DEECET 2017 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.

Note: The candidates who passed Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible.


Mathematics:- Those who studied Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate level

Physical Science: – Those who studied Physics & Chemistry as subjects at Intermediate level

Biological Science: – Those who studied Botany & Zoology as subjects at Intermediate level

Social Studies: – Those who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History, Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level.

  1. Can a candidate who has completed graduation through AUSDE, by qualifying an entrance exam (i.e. without 10+2) are they eligible to appear for D. Cet and there after can they proceed to the TTC? Please advice.

  4. Intermediate (with Maths, Physical science, Biological science and Social Studies) Considered As Qualification for APDEECET. Here Diploma Is Equivalent to Intermediate Education. Supreme Court Also Mentioned in Several Issues Related to Qualification such as Diploma Is Equivalent to Intermediate Education.
    Why Didn’t Giving Opportunity for Diploma Holder (Polytechnical Students). Because Diploma Holders Also Studying Maths and Physical science as Subject in Diploma. And Several Times Supreme Court also Mentioned that Diploma Education is Equivalent to Intermediate Education. In Diploma Included Maths 3 years (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and Physical Science 2 years ( 1st and 2nd). Even Though Diploma Education Satisfying Eligibility Criteria for APDEECET. Unfortunately there is no Opportunity for Diploma Students.
    So, Dear friends those who studied Diploma, This Eligibility Criteria Issue Please Put into Notice Before APDEECET Board

  5. i had already completed a b.tech,but i am not interesting in engineerig job.i like to do an a ttc course for government job,so i elegible or not? plz give ur valuable answer
